Who is MacSamurai?
Laurie A. Duncan is the original MacSamurai. But she’s been known to join forces with fellow warriors when the need arises.
Laurie is a native New Yorker, born in the Bronx, but spent most of her formative years in Toms River, NJ. She’s lived in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn with her “not-husband” Ron since 1998. She’s an over-protective sister to Lisa and David and a doting aunt to Stefanie, Toby and Dylan. When she’s not working, she’s usually curled up on the couch with the TiVo remote at hand, or lounging with her Kindle. In her previous life, Laurie was a theatrical stage manager (mostly opera and musicals), which is how she honed her multitasking skills.
MacSamurai Consulting was started in 2001 and has grown from a handful of NYC-based clients to hundreds of globally-happy Mac users. Despite our growth, we still offer the same personalized service we started with. We never forget that we need you as much as you need us.
